The Pre-Prom Build up
The day of the prom itself is likely to be pretty busy – you might have a hair appointment, an appointment with the manicurist and maybe even a make-up artist. Here are some tips to make sure you arrive at the prom at your very best.
Get as much ready before the actual day as you can
If you’re hiring an outfit, pick it up at least the day before. Not only do you need time to sort out any problems you also don’t need the hassle on the day itself.
Lay everything out
It might seem a bit over the top, but you’ll be surprised at how quickly the time goes. Gather up everything you need the night before, then you won’t need to run around the house screaming for the hairdryer, or wrestling your shoes out of the under stairs cupboard with the car waiting outside.
Make time to see your best friends
Why not arrange a special lunch together, setting aside an hour or two to be excited about the prom is well worth it – and there’s still plenty of time to get ready.
Arrange to have photos taken before you leave
You will look your best before you leave – no creases, no windswept hair – so get photos taken at home before the transport is ready. If you can, have your best friends over, or leave early to go to their place – even better if you’re sharing some fancy transport.
