About

The Prom Organiser is all about sharing advice and ideas to help students plan and attend their best prom ever. You can join in on the blog, on our Facebook page and if you follow us on Twitter, we’ll tweet good prom organising tips as soon as we come across them. We’ve distilled all the core advice into our delicious, free e-book that you can download here.

The Prom Organiser e-book

The Prom Organiser e-book is divided into two sections; one for prom organisers; ideally students on the prom committee, and one for prom guests. Both sections are packed with juicy tips, advice and general helpfulness to help you plan the best prom ever, and get to the night of the prom stress free.

The e-books are divided into regions so that we can include adverts from local prom service suppliers – then you don’t have to spend ages trying to find the people you need in your home town and we can afford to keep it all going for you. Brilliant!

Extra special important promise: All of the advertisers on this site and in our book would love to supply their prom-related goodies to you, no other businesses are featured.

Another even more extra special important promise: We will never share any of your personal details with our advertisers. We hate spam as much as you do, seriously.

Thanks for stopping by, we hope you like the site and find it useful. If you haven’t already, you can subscribe to the Prom Organiser blog by RSS and email, and of course, you can’t leave without downloading your free e-book, right?

The Prom Organiser team

In case you’re wondering who the people behind the Prom Organiser are, the two main folks are Jean and Emma.

Jean, a.k.a. Founder Supreme
Jean started up an ace book all about organising weddings nearly a decade ago, designed to help brides plan their wedding without the stress. Then she started a book for gay couples planning their civil partnership ceremonies and that took off like a rocket. Then she suddenly realised that school proms have a lot in common with weddings (without the ‘I do’ bit), and the idea for the Prom Organiser was born.

Jean is also a classically trained opera singer and loves fast cars and cake (preferably home made). Her favourite shoes are made by Roland Cartier.

Emma, a.k.a. Word Bunny
Emma writes. All the time. She used to be an A-level psychology teacher, but left to be a writer. The things she misses most about teaching are the students and the staff room chocolate cake. She has worked with Jean for many years writing for the wedding books, and has written the delightful prom e-book to help all of you guys have an ace prom. She also writes the blog and keeps in touch with everyone.

Emma also likes fast cars, playing on the Xbox (mostly RPGs and stuff like Fable II) and in her spare time defends the Earth from alien invaders. Her vivid imagination often gets her into trouble.

The rest of the team a.k.a. Um… the rest of the team
The Prom Organiser also has help from the wonderful Artemis design.

If you have any questions about this site, the e-book or anything to do with prom organising, simply go here and ask away. We'd love to hear from you!

P.S. All of our hard work is funded by the rather lovely advertisers you see on this site and in the e-book. We make sure that only the best companies advertise, and only ones that are relevant to your local areas, so it stays useful to you. If you love what we do, talk to us in the blog, tell your friends and click on the adverts – it’ll make our advertisers happy and keep us going. Thanks!

P.P.S. If you’re an advertiser and you’d like to be here too, call Jean on 01562 883124 or go to www.organiserpublications.co.uk for more information.
